When to use
- You want your AI to write a document — proposal, report, summary — and save it to your Google Drive, without copy-pasting between tools.
- You work your client documents in Drive and want the initial drafting of each one off your plate.
- You want to use your existing Drive files as context for the new document.
What it does
Bundles two pieces that reinforce each other, in one install:
- Google Drive (the connector) creates, reads, and organizes files in your Drive — so the AI can read your prior documents to stay consistent.
- Doc Co-Authoring (the skill) writes proposals, reports, and send-ready documents, with coherence, evidence, and tone passes, and its limits (it doesn't replace a lawyer on legally binding contracts).
A real example: you just finished a client meeting and have loose notes. You say "draft a proposal for Acme from these notes, in the same format as the one in my Clients folder, and save it there". Drive gives it a prior proposal as a format reference, Doc Co-Authoring writes the new one with that structure, and saves it to the right folder. You open Drive and it's there — ready to review and send.
How to use
- Install the Plugin and connect your Google Drive account.
- Ask: "write a project progress report from these notes and save it to my Drive".
- Review the document — it lands in the folder you point it to.
Why the bundle works
The writing skill alone gives you text you then have to save and organize by hand. The connector alone lets you move files, but doesn't write them. Together: the AI reads your prior documents to keep the style, writes the new one with judgment, and files it where it belongs — from idea to saved file, no jumps.
Limits
- It writes review-ready drafts, not final documents without your eye — you approve before sending.
- It doesn't replace legal, accounting, or medical advice; for binding contracts or regulated topics, get professional review.
- Requires connecting your Google Drive; it only sees and saves what that account allows.
